More Photoshop

Well it looks like all my creativity has been spent recently doing photoshop. I'm starting to re-get how to work the program and I've been really pleased with more of my recent work. Here's some samples:

This image above is a potential cover to something in regards to my band, The Chalfonts (look em up)

The image above is originally a picture of a sunset that I took outside of my parents' house.
So yeah. I hope y'alls are liking this and more will be up as things get completed.

Collage

Here's a collage that I threw together in literally 5 minutes for my photoshop class. Hope you enjoy!

All We Are

So. as some of you may know, I'm in a band called the Chalfonts. There is no way to describe how we sound so here is a snippet of our set from the So Fresh So Clean show at Missoula's Elks Club on March 12, 2010. The song is called "All We Are"

Phototime 1

So these are a couple of photos that I ended up editing in Photoshop, just messing around with saturation and color balance. Thanks be to the music of Nico Stai for my inspiration of this endeavor and to Max Showers for constructive criticism and help.

No. 1 for 2010

Well, it's been too long since I posted anything. This site's telling me that I haven't posted anything since New Year's Eve, so I figured now would be as good a time as ever to update it. I have been doing quite a bit of writing, drawing, and just all-around creative things lately, mainly to relax and blow off steam from my hectic 12-hours-on-campus days. Here's a taste of some product:

Thanks be to you, trusty Slingshot.
I'm just west of the Dakotas
but too east to be significant.
It's all about location.
Lead to worn-out welcomes with all the strangers.
Faces stay fresh for only a while
soon becoming too familiar.
Thanks be to you, trusty Slingshot.
I'm just west of the Dakotas
and you put me in this exact spot.
No matter what they say,
we all need constant flux.
Changes of pace, changes of scenery.
I know that's where you're going.
Thanks be to you, trusty Slingshot.
I'm just west of the Dakotas,
but too east for appreciation.

This is only the first or second draft, but I have a lot of musings and rants as songs and poems that are completely unfinished, such as this. If I do have any New Year's resolutions, they're to finish said writings...

No Year's Resolutions

It's New Year's Eve
and where am I?
Closer to the start
back at the roots
with less than when I set foot

It's New Year's Eve
and where am I?
Sitting on my couch
Cranking this out
for no one who really gives a damn

It's New Year's Eve
and where am I?
Right here, writing
With no real goals
and a year past that I'd much rather forget

WYMAT 6: Isochronic Tones

Sorry about the long wait all. I've been very busy with school and whatnot. Anyways lets get back on track with these posts!

Thanks to Stumble Upon, I found this interesting website. It has a bunch of tracks on there that are supposed to activate your brain in one way or another through the use of different frequencies and sound wavelengths. If you want to feel something different and have some time on your hands, check it out here at http://www.iso-tones.com/tones.html

It may be a little bit annoying at first, but you'll quickly get past it.

Now go and WYMAT
